Union Human Resource Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has earlier launched this student helpline portal on 3 April 2020 to deal with coronavirus. The main objective is to help students facing difficulties due to the closure of colleges and hostels in the wake of the outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic. This MHRD COVID-19 student helpline portal has been developed by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to provide assistance and assistance to students facing problems and to address their issues.
