PM Ghar Tak Fiber Scheme 2021 – Optical Fiber Network in all villages under BharatNet

The PM Ghar Tak Fiber Scheme 2021 has been launched under the BharatNet initiative by the central government. The Common Service Center (CSC), under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), has undertaken the laying of optical fiber networks in India. These optical fibers will connect the villages with gram panchayats / village blocks across the country. CSC is taking initiative through its Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) under the Central Government’s BharatNet initiative.

Fiber plan 2021 till PM home

PM Narendra Modi announced in his 74th Independence Day speech that before 2014, only 5 dozen gram panchayats were connected with optical fiber. In the last 5 years, about 1.5 lakh gram panchayats have been connected to the optical fiber network. In the coming 1000 days, the central government. Now the government has launched PM Ghar Tak Fiber Scheme 2021 to provide high speed internet connectivity to the people.

CSC Home (FTTH) to Provide Fiber for Broadband Internet Connectivity

Furthering PM Modi’s vision of connecting villages through optical fiber networks, CSC aims to provide fiber to the home broadband internet connectivity. This initiative in Bihar was launched with the objective of providing FTTH connectivity to provide 45,945 villages of almost all gram panchayats in the state. In addition, it is a Pan India initiative, it is expected that the Govt. By the end of this year, by 2021, optical fiber network will be set up in all villages.

Online plan / service delivery to citizens with fiber plan till PM home

With the proliferation of broadband connectivity in villages, citizens will be provided with an online plan / service. After the implementation of the PM Yojana Fiber Scheme 2021, people can now take advantage of various schemes and initiatives by the government with just one click. New employment opportunities will open up in villages and this will help local youth, especially girls, to become independent and support their families.

Inauguration of new areas of income with internet availability

With optical fiber connectivity, new avenues of additional income sources will be opened. It includes new areas: –

  • Rural BPO
  • Ecommerce
  • E-education
  • Tele-medicine
  • Online banking

All these new areas of earning beautiful amount will be created by providing high speed internet facility in the villages.
