The Punjab Government has introduced the Kisan Credit Limit Scheme 2021 for animal breeders (Pashu Palak). In this scheme, like cattle ranchers, like cattle farmers, they can also make their farmer credit limit. Under this scheme, each cattleman has to pay Rs. 3 lakhs per family at an interest rate of 4 lakhs. The Kisan Credit Limit Scheme will greatly benefit small and landless cattle rearing farmers. Now to take a loan of Rs. 1.6 lakh, security in the form of land will not be necessary.

The Punjab Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Dairy Development Minister said that the cattle rearers of the state would also be entitled to avail the farmers credit limit. The main objective of this scheme is to promote animal husbandry (animal husbandry).   • Broiler (Broiler) – Rs. 161
  • Egg production chicken (egg laying hen) – Rs. 630

Under this Farmers Credit Limit Scheme for cattle rearing, each cattle breeder has to pay Rs. 3 lakhs at an interest rate of 4%. Small and landless animal breeders will benefit the most. Now the farmers involved in animal husbandry will get Rs. 1.6 lakhs without any protection in the form of land. The only precondition for availing loans at concessional rates will be the availability of animals / animals.
