Telangana KCR Kit Scheme 2021 for Pregnant Women – How to Register

Government of Telangana. Finally KCR Kit Scheme 2021 has been launched for pregnant women. state government. has started the online registration through its official portal kcrkit.telangana.gov.in. However, interested pregnant women can register themselves by visiting their nearest Public Health Center.

Auxiliary Nurse Midwife, Medical Officer or Deputy District Medical and Health Officer will be able to process online registration of pregnant women under KCR Kit scheme.

Telangana KCR Kit Scheme 2021

The Telangana State Government has started the KCR Kit Scheme which has been implemented from 4th June 2017. Pregnant women can use this scheme for maximum 2 deliveries. Women giving birth in a government hospital can take advantage of this scheme. The main objective of this scheme is to provide all the essential items for pregnant women and newborn baby.

Under this scheme, financial assistance of one lakh rupees will be provided to pregnant women. 12,000 in 4 steps. In case of a girl child, an additional Rs. 1000 will be given by the Govt. KCR kit includes baby oil, mother and baby soap, mosquito net, clothes, handbag, baby toys, diaper, powder, shampoo, saree, towel and napkin, baby bed.

Items in KCR Kit Scheme

KCR Kit scheme has been launched under which 16 essential items will be provided including the following:

– Useful soap for mother and baby

– mosquito net
– dresses
– Saree
– hand band
– Towel and napkin

– shampoo
– toys for baby

Items provided at Rs 15,000 KCR kit will be useful for newborn up to 3 months. ‘KCR kits’ have already been distributed to pregnant women. The idea is to encourage more deliveries in government hospitals, reduce infant mortality and female feticide.

Under this scheme the state government will also provide financial assistance of Rs. To cover wage loss to 12000 working pregnant women.   • 3000/- added to the beneficiary’s account after completing 2 ANC checkups within 5.5 months from the LMP date approved by the MO.
  • 4000/- in the account of the beneficiary after delivery if the child born is a boy. 5000/- in the account of the beneficiary after delivery if the child born is a girl child.
  • 2000/- is added to the beneficiary’s account after the first vaccination (within 3 months of delivery).
  • 3000/- in the beneficiary account after the second vaccination (within 9 months after delivery)

KCR kit scheme announced

The KCR kit scheme was announced by the state government in its 2017-2018 budget for pregnant women and newborn. Under this scheme the state government will provide a kit containing some essential items for pregnant women and newborn baby to manage pregnancy complications. This scheme is designed to provide nutritious food to pregnant women and to take care of the newborn after delivery. The objective of the KCR Kit scheme is to improve the well-being of mother and child and reduce infant mortality. Encouraging institutional delivery in the state is also one of the main objectives of the scheme.

Pregnant women are given Rs. 12,000 financial assistance in 4 phases. If a pregnant woman gives birth to a girl child, Rs. 1000 extra is given. For the health of mother and newborn after delivery, the government is giving KCR kits with 16 items. The kit will contain clothes, quality baby soap, baby oil, baby powder, mosquito nets, toys, napkins, diapers, etc., which will be enough for three months. It is an affectionate gift given by the government to mother and child.
