Will provide subsidy on installation of solar water pumping system. These installations will be done under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Uja Suraksha Abhiyan Utthan Mahabhiyan (PM Kusum) scheme. Government of Haryana Implementing Solar Water Pumping Scheme 2021 to install 2HP (surface and submersible) and 5HP (submersible) solar pumps. Haryana Solar Power Based Tubewell Scheme (Updated till 5 May 2018)
The language of writing is as of 5 May 2018: Government of Haryana Solar based tubewell scheme is going to be implemented for farmers. Under this scheme, the State Govt. 6 lakh will connect tubewells with solar energy. This solar powered tube well pump scheme will enable farmers to generate surplus electricity while earning additional income. Government of Haryana Will provide electricity subsidy of Rs. 7000 crores to farmers. This new solar subsidy scheme is a major step towards “doubling farmer’s income by 2022”.
Haryana Finance Minister Captain Abhimanyu gave this information in a press conference after the meeting with the 15th Finance Commission. Even this solar powered tube well scheme will help in reducing the level of pollution in the state. This initiative to promote solar energy will ensure adequate power supply, timely water for irrigation, additional income and will also reduce pollution to a great extent.
